Information Technology shares ease

Information Technology stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index falling 71.41 points or 0.46% at 15548.55 at 13:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (down 3.35%), AXISCADES Engineering Technologies Ltd (down 3.12%),Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (down 1.98%),Cigniti Technologies Ltd (down 1.81%),Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd (down 1.49%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Aptech Ltd (down 1.47%), CESC Ventures Ltd (down 1.43%), Newgen Software Technologies Ltd (down 1.32%), Cyient Ltd (down 1.31%), and Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd (down 1.04%).

On the other hand, Trigyn Technologies Ltd (up 8.52%), NELCO Ltd (up 5.34%), and Infibeam Avenues Ltd (up 4.75%) moved up.

At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 49.59 or 0.12% at 41525.55.

The Nifty 50 index was down 15.6 points or 0.13% at 12230.2.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 73.25 points or 0.54% at 13621.06.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 12.66 points or 0.27% at 4759.11.

On BSE,1250 shares were trading in green, 1146 were trading in red and 172 were unchanged.
