Turnover on NSE's F&O segment jump
The Nifty April 2018 futures traded at 10465.10, a premium of 6.45 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10458.65 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 13.58 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 7.34 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 41.50 points or 0.40% to settle at 10,458.65.
Infosys, TCS, Titan Company, BPCL and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Infosys April 2018 futures traded at 1163.60, at a discount over spot closing of 1164.05. TCS April 2018 futures traded at 3135, at a discount over spot closing of 3136.
Titan Company April 2018 futures traded at 979.50, at a premium over spot closing of 976.60. BPCL April 2018 futures traded at 418.15, at a premium over spot closing of 417. ICICI Bank April 2018 futures traded at 287.10, at a premium over spot closing of 287.
The April 2018 F&O contracts expire on 26 April 2018.
