Turnover on NSE's F&O segment declines
The Nifty May 2018 futures traded at 10,763.95, a premium of 22.85 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10,741.10 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 11.06 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 11.31 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 60.75 points or 0.56% to settle at 10,741.10.
ICICI Bank, ITC and RIL were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. ICICI Bank May 2018 futures traded at 298.15, at a premium over spot closing price of 296.95.
ITC May 2018 futures traded at 282.75, at a discount from spot closing price of 286.35. RIL May 2018 futures traded at 959.50, at a premium over spot closing price of 954.40.
The May 2018 F&O contracts expire on 31 May 2018.
