Turnover on NSE's F&O segment declines

The Nifty May 2018 futures traded at 10815.75, a premium of 9.25 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10806.50 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 3.87 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 11.46 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 89.95 points or 0.84% to settle at 10,806.50.

Asian Paints, Titan Company, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Asian Paints May 2018 futures traded at 1286.65, at a premium over spot closing price of 1285.05. Titan Company May 2018 futures traded at 962.65, at a premium over spot closing price of 958.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries May 2018 futures traded at 472, at a premium over spot closing price of 470.70. Bharti Airtel May 2018 futures traded at 388, at a premium over spot closing price of 386.05. Reliance Industries May 2018 futures traded at 988.80, at a premium over spot closing price of 986.

The May 2018 F&O contracts expire on 31 May 2018.
