Shares of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) surged 51.28% in four trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 259.15, from a recent closing low of Rs 171.30 on 6 September 2019.
On BSE, 1.01 lakh shares were traded in ITDC counter, compared to a 2-week average of 6,508 shares. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 268.65 and an intraday low of Rs 236.70.
It hit a 52-week high of Rs 412 on 26 September 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 152.15 on 23 August 2019.
On a consolidated basis, ITDC reported a net loss of Rs 73 lakh in Q1 June 2019 compared with a net loss of Rs 70 lakh in Q1 June 2018. Net sales fell 15.2% to Rs 62.12 crore in Q1 June 2019 over Q1 June 2018.
ITDC operates hotels, tours and travels.
