Jagran Prakashan standalone net profit rises 22.06% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 11.71% to Rs 431.14 crore

Net profit of Jagran Prakashan rose 22.06% to Rs 60.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 49.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.71% to Rs 431.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 385.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 14.08% to Rs 255.02 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 223.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 8.74% to Rs 1757.93 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1616.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
