JBM 'CITYLIFE' low floor 'air-conditioned' CNG City Buses flagged off

100 low floor air-conditioned CNG JBM CITYLIFE city buses manufactured by JBM Auto were flagged off today from the Rajghat Bus Depot by Shri. Arvind Kejriwal, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi. This low floor CNG AC bus service has been rolled out under the cluster scheme for the first time in New Delhi and will be in service today onwards. The Transport Department, Govt. of Delhi will be rolling out a total of 400 such buses in various phases across the city.

These buses manufactured by JBM Auto Ltd. run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and are equipped with all modern features like Real Time Passenger Information System (PIS), Panic Buttons for emergency, Automatic Bus Vehicle Location System, CCTV cameras, public address system, Stop request buttons, wheel chair ramp to name a few. Dedicated pink colour seats have been provisioned for women passengers in these buses.
