March 2018 crude steel production at 0.45 MT, up by 55%
Jindal Steel & Power has achieved highest ever monthly crude steel production of 0.45 million tonnes in March 2018 compared to 0.29 million tonnes in March 2017, recording an increase of 55%.The company also achieved highest ever quarterly crude steel production of 1.26 million tonnes in Q4FY18, higher by 38% over crude steel production of 0.91 million tonnes achieved in corresponding quarter of previous year.
Sales were reported at 0.45 million tonnes in March 2018, higher by 29% over 0.35 million tonnes in March 2017. In Q4FY2 018, sales stood at 1.18 million tonnes, higher by 29% over 0.92 million tonnes in corresponding quarter of previous year.
