JK Tyre & Industries consolidated net profit rises 10.20% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 3.36% to Rs 1729.42 crore

Net profit of JK Tyre & Industries rose 10.20% to Rs 116.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 105.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 3.36% to Rs 1729.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1789.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 40.69% to Rs 463.80 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 329.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 6.14% to Rs 6877.98 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 7327.85 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
