JSW Energy consolidated net profit declines 91.97% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 29.22% to Rs 1862.08 crore

Net profit of JSW Energy declined 91.97% to Rs 23.72 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 295.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 29.22% to Rs 1862.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2630.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 56.54% to Rs 629.03 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1447.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 15.89% to Rs 8263.43 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 9824.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
