JSW Steel announces crude steel production figures
For Q3 FY15 and 9M FY15
JSW Steel announced the quarterly crude steel production at 3.17 million tons for Q3 FY15 compared to 3.19 million tons in Q3 FY14.The production of flat rolled products stood at 2.56 million tons in Q3 FY15 over 2.57 million tons in Q3 FY14, a decline of 1%.
The production of long rolled products stood at 0.50 million tons in Q3 FY15 over 0.44 million tons in Q3 FY14, a growth of 14%.
The Company achieved cumulative crude steel production of 9.57 million tons in the first nine months of FY15 showing a growth of 6% over the corresponding period of the last year.
The production of rolled flat products stood at 7.60 million tons in first nine months of FY15 over 7.26 million tons in corresponding period of the last year, a growth of 5%.
The production of rolled long products stood at 1.58 million tons in first nine months of FY15 over 1.35 million tons in corresponding period of last year, a growth of 17%.
