Plans to issue US Dollar denominated senior notes
JSW Steel announced that the Company is contemplating issuing of debt instruments in the form of US Dollar denominated senior notes, subject to market conditions.The Board of the Company at its meeting held on 17 May 2017 had approved to raise long term funds through the issuance of non-convertible foreign currency/Rupee denominated senior unsecured fixed rate bonds upto USD 1 billion (the Notes), in one or more tranches, in the international market(s) either by the Company or by any of its overseas subsidiaries backed by corporate guarantee of the Company.
