JSW Steel wins Deming Prize for its Vijayanagar Works manufacturing unit

JSW Steel has been awarded the Deming Prize for its Vijayanagar Works manufacturing unit. The JSW Vijayanagar Works is the largest single location integrated steel plant in the world to be awarded the prestigious Deming Prize for excellence in Total Quality Management (TQM).

The Deming Application Prize is a world-renowned annual quality award presented by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) to companies that have achieved distinctive performance benchmarks through the application of TQM. The Deming Prize will be formally presented to JSW Steel on 14 November 2018 in Tokyo.
