Jubilant Life Sciences consolidated net profit rises 65.41% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 2.82% to Rs 1480.29 crore

Net profit of Jubilant Life Sciences rose 65.41% to Rs 70.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 42.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 2.82% to Rs 1480.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1523.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 431.49 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 57.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.31% to Rs 5700.45 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5776.14 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
