K E C International provides update on its domestic and international operations

K E C International announced that the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, vide its order dated 15 April 2020 and 16 April 2020, has issued revised consolidated Guidelines under which certain Industries/Industrial Establishments/ construction activities (which includes laying/erection of power transmission lines and laying of cables related activities) have been allowed w.e.f. 20 April 2020.

Accordingly, the company has resumed/is resuming operations at few of its factories in India in a phased manner. The Company has also applied for permission from the relevant authorities for resuming operations at the remaining factories and is hopeful that the remaining factories too shall resume operations shortly.

The Company's factories at Brazil and Mexico, being identified as an Essential Sector in the respective geographies have been operational throughout this period.

Majority of the Company's International Project Sites for T&D have been operating, while domestically the Company has commenced operations at some of its T&D/Railways/Civil sites after receiving the requisites approvals.
