Kennametal India net profit declines 65.81% in the June 2013 quarter

Sales decline 16.91% to Rs 119.06 crore

Net profit of Kennametal India declined 65.81% to Rs 5.16 crore in the quarter ended June 2013 as against Rs 15.09 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2012. Sales declined 16.91% to Rs 119.06 crore in the quarter ended June 2013 as against Rs 143.29 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2012.

For the full year,net profit declined 78.29% to Rs 14.85 crore in the year ended June 2013 as against Rs 68.39 crore during the previous year ended June 2012. Sales declined 12.99% to Rs 488.85 crore in the year ended June 2013 as against Rs 561.83 crore during the previous year ended June 2012.
