KSK Energy Ventures spurts after bulk deal

A bulk deal of 11.64 lakh shares was executed on KSK Energy Ventures stock at Rs 50.50 per share in opening trade on BSE today, 11 June 2013.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 90.85 points, or 0.47%, to 19,350.22

On BSE, 12.23 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 6,163 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 54.75 and low of Rs 50.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 41.40 on 28 March 2013. It had hit a 52-week high of Rs 74.70 on 9 October 2012.

The stock had outperformed he market over the past one month till 10 June 2013, rising 3.08% compared with the Sensex's 3.19% decline. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 0.69% as against Sensex's 1.23% fall.

The small-cap firm has an equity capital of Rs 372.63 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

On a consolidated basis, KSK Energy Ventures' net profit surged 75% to Rs 57.66 crore on 3.2% rise in net sales to Rs 516.54 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012.
