Kuantum Papers net profit rises 242.58% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 19.23% to Rs 136.24 crore

Net profit of Kuantum Papers rose 242.58% to Rs 19.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 5.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 19.23% to Rs 136.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 114.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 161.90% to Rs 33.55 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 12.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 13.83% to Rs 476.81 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 418.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
