Mcleod Russel India fell 1.19% to Rs 298.80 at 14:48 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 2 lakh shares was executed on the counter on BSE today, 10 June 2014.

A bulk deal of 2 lakh shares was executed on the counter at Rs 298.75 per share at 13:46 IST on BSE today, 10 June 2014. The bulk deal saw 0.18% equity of Mcleod Russel India changing hands.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 80.24 points, or 0.31%, to 25,499.97

On BSE, so far 2.41 lakh shares were traded in the counter compared with average volume of 47,726 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 305.50 and a low of Rs 296 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 330 on 2 January 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 240.35 on 20 August 2013.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 9 June 2014, rising 9.25% compared with the Sensex's 11.25% rise. The scrip also underperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 5.38% as against Sensex's 16.7% rise.

The mid-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 54.73 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.

Mcleod Russel India reported net loss of Rs 193.16 crore in Q4 March 2014, higher than net loss of Rs 145.84 crore in Q4 March 2013. Net sales fell 2.7% to Rs 314.42 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q4 March 2013.

Mcleod Russel is the world's largest producer of tea.
