Records increase of 5.98 mn tonnes of reserves & resources
MOIL announced that it is continuously exploring manganese ore deposits within its mining leases. The cumulative exploration over the year has resulted in proving of Bed (Insitu) ore resources, inclusive of Reserves.Exploration is a continuous process and in the recent past MOIL has completed 33847 meters of drilling applying United Nations Framework Classification (UNFC) system. As a result of extensive exploration done by the company, the reserves and resources of the Manganese ore have increased to 77.38 million tonnes when compared to last reported figure of 73.50 million tonnes, registering an increase of 5.98 million tonnes of reserves and resources.
