Natural gas production declines for fourth straight year FY2015
India's natural gas production declined 1.5% to 2.837 billion cubic meters (bcm) in March 2015 over a year ago. The natural gas output of ONGC fell 4.9% to 1.87 bcm, while that of Oil India increased 18.1% to 0.232 bcm. Meanwhile, the natural gas output of private and JV companies increased 2.5% to 0.735 bcm in March 2015, while snapping consistent decline for last 51-months.The natural gas output declined 4.9% to 33.656 bcm in April-March FY2015 over a year ago.
