Nifty April 2013 futures near spot price

Turnover drops

Nifty April 2013 futures were at 5560.15, near spot closing of 5553.25. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 126424.39 crore from Rs 148426.46 crore on Thursday, 4 April 2013.

United Spirits April 2013 futures were at 1755, at a premium over spot closing of 1749.15.

State Bank of India (SBI) April 2013 futures were at 2062.50, at a premium over spot closing of 2052.

ICICI Bank April 2013 futures were at 1001.85, at a premium over spot closing of 996.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 21.50 points or 0.39% to settle at 5,553.25, its lowest closing level since 13 September 2012.

The April 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 25 April 2013
