Turnover declines
Nifty April 2015 futures were at 8767.20, a premium of 52.80 points over spot closing of 8714.40. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 1.81 lakh crore from Rs 2.45 lakh crore registered during previous trading session on Tuesday, 7 April 2015.
Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) April 2015 futures were at 332.80, at a premium over spot closing of 331.
Aurobindo Pharma April 2015 futures were at 1327, at a premium over spot closing of 1317.50.
Housing Development and Infrastructure (HDIL) April 2015 futures were at 133.40, at a premium over spot closing of 133.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 54.10 points, or 0.62% to settle at 8,714.40, its highest closing level since 12 March 2015.
The April 2015 derivatives contracts expire on 30 April 2015.
