Turnover on NSE's F&O segment declines
The Nifty April 2018 futures traded at 10280, at a premium of 35 points over the Nifty's spot closing of 10245 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 4.33 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.79 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 33.20 points or 0.33% to settle at 10,245.
ICICI Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), Tata Steel, Reliance Industries (RIL) and Jubilant Foodworks were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. ICICI Bank April 2018 futures traded at 270.85, at a premium over spot closing of 270.20. SBI April 2018 futures traded at 252.20, at a premium over spot closing of 250.95.
Tata Steel April 2018 futures traded at 582.30, at a premium over spot closing of 580. RIL April 2018 futures traded at 904, at a premium over spot closing of 901. Jubilant Foodworks April 2018 futures traded at 2347.70, at a premium over spot closing of 2329.95.
The April 2018 F&O contracts expire on 26 April 2018.
