Turnover rises
Nifty December 2013 futures were at 6160, at a premium of 68.15 points over spot closing of 6091.85. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 286472.21 crore from Rs 214958.26 crore on Wednesday, 27 November 2013.
United Spirits December 2013 futures were at 2661.10, at a premium over spot closing of 2637.85.
ICICI Bank December 2013 futures were at 1055.80, at a premium over spot closing of 1046.35.
Infosys December 2013 futures were at 3355.40, at a premium over spot closing of 3325.80.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 34.75 points or 0.57% to settle at 6,091.85, its highest closing level since 25 November 2013.
The December 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 26 December 2013. The November 2013 derivatives contracts expired today, 28 November 2013.
