Turnover jumps
Nifty February 2014 futures were at 6045.85, at a premium of 44.95 points over spot closing of 6000.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 125276.47 crore from Rs 92200.70 crore on Monday, 3 February 2014.
Aurobindo Pharma February 2014 futures were at 484.50, at a premium over spot closing of 480.40.
State Bank of India February 2014 futures were at 1522, at a premium over spot closing of 1519.20.
Tata Motors February 2014 futures were at 347.80, at a premium over spot closing of 346.10.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 0.90 point or 0.01% to settle at 6,000.90, its lowest closing level since 22 November 2013.
The February 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 February 2014.
