Nifty February 2014 futures at premium

Turnover jumps

Nifty February 2014 futures were at 6109.25, at a premium of 35.55 points over spot closing of 6073.70. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 312446.62 crore from Rs 204729.21 crore on Wednesday, 29 January 2014.

United Spirits February 2014 futures were at 2452, at a premium over spot closing of 2433.

State Bank of India (SBI) February 2014 futures were at 1522.15, at a premium over spot closing of 1518.05.

Aurobindo Pharma February 2014 futures were at 454.40, at a discount compared to spot closing of 454.50.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 46.55 points or 0.76% to settle at 6,073.70, its lowest closing level since 27 November 2013.

The February 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 February 2014. The January 2014 derivatives contracts expired today, 30 January 2014.
