Turnover drops
Nifty February 2014 futures were at 6166, at a premium of 13.25 points over spot closing of 6152.75. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 118614.18 crore from Rs 167792.30 crore on Tuesday, 18 February 2014.
Infosys February 2014 futures were at 3757, at a discount compared to spot closing of 3760.
State Bank of India February 2014 futures were at 1510.10, near spot closing of 1508.40.
L&T February 2014 futures were at 1029.95, at a discount compared to spot closing of 1030.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 25.65 points or 0.42% to settle at 6,152.75, its highest closing level since 24 January 2014.
The February 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 February 2014.
