Turnover rises
Nifty February 2014 futures were at 6093.90, at a premium of 9.90 points compared to spot closing of 6084. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 103808.78 crore from Rs 80,845.68 crore on Tuesday, 11 February 2014.
Tata Steel February 2014 futures were at 374.40, near spot closing of 373.80.
Aurobindo Pharma February 2014 futures were at 492.50, at a premium over spot closing of 489.80.
United Spirits February 2014 futures were at 2380, at a premium over spot closing of 2368.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 21.30 points or 0.35% to settle at 6,084, its highest closing level since 31 January 2014.
The February 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 February 2014.
