Turnover rises
Nifty February 2014 futures were at 6108.15, at a premium of 16.70 points over spot closing of 6091.45. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 145721.74 crore from Rs 118614.18 crore on Wednesday, 19 February 2014.
State Bank of India February 2014 futures were at 1482.50, at a premium over spot closing of 1476.35.
TCS February 2014 futures were at 2196.25, at a premium over spot closing of 2188.20.
Tata Steel February 2014 futures were at 367.95, near spot closing of 366.70.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 61.30 points or 1% to settle at 6,091.45, its lowest closing level since 17 February 2014.
The February 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 February 2014.
