Turnover rises
Nifty February 2015 futures were at 8981.30, a premium of 28.95 points over spot closing of 8952.35. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 580849.52 crore from Rs 570001.57 crore on Wednesday, 28 January 2015.
HDFC Bank February 2015 futures were at 1104.75, at a premium over spot closing of 1093.
Reliance Industries February 2015 futures were at 933.45, at a premium over spot closing of 927.95.
Axis Bank February 2015 futures were at 604.55, at a premium over spot closing of 599.75.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 38.05 points or 0.43% to settle at 8,952.35, a record closing high for the index.
The February 2015 derivatives contract expire on 26 February 2015. The January 2015 derivatives contract expired today, 29 January 2015.
