Turnover surges
Nifty February 2015 futures were at 8890, a premium of 54.40 points over spot closing of 8835.60. Nifty January 2015 futures were at 8834, near spot closing of 8835.60. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 350427.43 crore from Rs 251234.46 crore yesterday, 22 January 2015.
State Bank of India January 2015 futures were at 327.65, near spot closing of 327.05
HDFC Bank January 2015 futures were at 1046.75, at a premium over spot closing of 1042
ICICI Bank January 2015 futures were at 370.10, at a premium over spot closing of 369.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty surged 74.20 points or 0.85% to settle at 8,835.60, a record closing high for the index.
The January 2015 derivatives contract expire on 29 January 2015.
