Turnover rises
Nifty June 2014 futures were at 7508, at a premium of 14.65 points over spot closing of 7493.35. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 275302.24 crore from Rs 208532.53 crore on Friday, 20 June 2014.
State Bank of India June 2014 futures were at 2606.60, at a premium over spot closing of 2598.
Tata Steel June 2014 futures were at 529.50, at a premium over spot closing of 527.45.
ITC June 2014 futures were at 317.70, near spot closing of 317.50.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 18.10 points or 0.24% to settle at 7,493.35, its lowest closing level since 5 June 2014.
The near-month June 2014 derivatives contracts expire on Thursday, 26 June 2014.
