Turnover spurts
Nifty July 2014 futures were at 7630.95, near spot closing of 7623.20. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment jumped to Rs 202552.24 crore from Rs 106168.98 crore on Monday, 7 July 2014.
IRB Infrastructure Developers July 2014 futures were at 239.95, near spot closing of 238.75.
State Bank of India July 2014 futures were at 2581, at a premium over spot closing of 2575.
Reliance Capital July 2014 futures were at 598.30, at a premium over spot closing of 595.90.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty tumbled 163.95 points or 2.11% to settle at 7,623.20, its lowest closing level since 30 June 2014.
The July 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 31 July 2014.
