Turnover rises
Nifty June 2014 futures were at 7661, at a premium of 29.30 points over spot closing of 7631.70. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 206804.41 crore from Rs 192102.30 crore on Monday, 16 June 2014.
State Bank of India June 2014 futures were at 2662.85, at a premium over spot closing of 2648.
Tata Steel June 2014 futures were at 535.80, at a premium over spot closing of 533.50.
Reliance Capital June 2014 futures were at 622.90, at a premium over spot closing of 619.35.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty jumped 98.15 points or 1.3% to settle at 7,631.70, its highest closing level since 12 June 2014.
The June 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 June 2014.
