F&O turnover spurts
Nifty June 2014 futures were at 7622.05, at a discount compared to spot closing of 7626.85. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 225747.62 crore from Rs 177166.67 crore on Tuesday, 10 June 2014.
Infosys June 2014 futures were at 3184, at a premium over spot closing of 3177.
State Bank of India June 2014 futures were at 2696, near spot closing of 2694.
ICICI Bank June 2014 futures were at 1467, at a premium over spot closing of 1462.50.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 29.55 points or 0.39% to settle at 7,626.85, its lowest closing level since 6 June 2014.
The June 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 26 June 2014.
