F&O turnover rises
Nifty June 2015 futures were at 8119.85, at a discount of 4.60 points compared to spot closing of 8124.45. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 1.88 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 1.70 lakh crore registered during the previous trading session.
ICICI Bank June 2015 futures were at 293.40, near spot closing of 293.
State Bank of India (SBI) June 2015 futures were at 261, near spot closing of 260.65.
Axis Bank June 2015 futures were at 563.75, at a discount compared to spot closing of 564.50.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty surged 102.05 points or 1.27% to settle at 8,124.45, its highest closing level since 4 June 2015.
The June 2015 F&O contracts are set to expire on 25 June 2015.
