Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

The Nifty June 2018 futures traded at 10,847, a premium of 4.15 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10,842.85 in the cash market. The Nifty July 2018 futures traded at 10,858.85, a premium of 16 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10,842.85 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 6.13 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 5.40 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 55.90 points or 0.52% to settle at 10,842.85

SBI, RIL and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

SBI June 2018 futures traded at 283.65, at a discount over spot closing price of 284. RIL June 2018 futures traded at 994, at a discount over spot closing price of 999.40. Tata Steel June 2018 futures traded at 581.35, at a premium over spot closing price of 579.60.

The June 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 28 June 2018.
