Turnover rises
Nifty March 2014 futures were at 6431.45, at a premium of 30.30 points over spot closing of 6401.15. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 148030.98 crore from Rs 118183.50 crore on Wednesday, 5 March 2014.
Reliance Infrastructure March 2014 futures were at 400.95, at a premium over spot closing of 398.90.
ICICI Bank March 2014 futures were at 1131.45, at a premium compared to spot closing of 1125.10.
Tata Steel March 2014 futures were at 367.45, at a premium over spot closing of 365.10.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 72.50 points or 1.15% to settle at 6,401.15, a record closing high.
The March 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 27 March 2014.
