Turnover rises
Nifty March 2015 futures were at 8825, a premium of 62.90 points over spot closing of 8762.10. Nifty February 2015 futures were at 8773, near spot closing. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 387754.39 crore from Rs 330803.61 crore yesterday, 23 February 2015.
HDFC Bank February 2015 futures were at 1066.50, at a discount compared to spot closing of 1068.
State Bank of India February 2015 futures were at 296.30, matching spot closing of 296.30.
ICICI Bank February 2015 futures were at 326.95, near spot closing of 326.80.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 7.15 points or 0.08% to settle at 8,762.10, its highest closing level since 20 February 2015.
The March 2015 derivatives contract expire on 26 March 2015. The near-month February 2015 derivatives contract expire on Thursday, 26 February 2015.
