Turnover spurts
Nifty March 2015 futures were at 8739, a premium of 55.15 points over spot closing of 8683.85. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 581563.86 crore from Rs 427646.90 crore yesterday, 25 February 2015.
HDFC Bank March 2015 futures were at 1052.90, at a premium over spot closing of 1039.60.
State Bank of India March 2015 futures were at 291.80, at a premium over spot closing of 289.40.
ICICI Bank March 2015 futures were at 324.10, at a premium over spot closing of 321.90.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 83.40 points or 0.95% to settle at 8,683.85, its lowest closing level since 11 February 2015.
The March 2015 derivatives contract expire on 26 March 2015. The February 2015 derivatives contract expired today, 26 February 2015.
