Turnover drops
Nifty May 2014 futures were at 7274.45, at a premium of 21.55 points over spot closing of 7252.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 176196.20 crore from Rs 199274.61 crore on Tuesday, 20 May 2014.
State Bank of India May 2014 futures were at 2472.45, at a premium over spot closing of 2463.60.
DLF May 2014 futures were at 195.50, near spot closing of 194.65.
Sesa Sterlite May 2014 futures were at 250.75, near spot closing of 250.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 22.60 points or 0.31% to settle at 7,252.90, its lowest closing level since 16 May 2014.
The May 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 29 May 2014.
