Nifty May 2014 futures near spot price
Turnover drops
Nifty May 2014 futures were at 7268.05, near spot closing of 7263.55. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 251736.98 crore from Rs 436882.26 crore on Friday, 16 May 2014.
State Bank of India May 2014 futures were at 2570, at a discount compared to spot closing of 2575.
ICICI Bank May 2014 futures were at 1475, at a premium over spot closing of 1465.
Tata Steel May 2014 futures were at 453.50, at a premium over spot closing of 450.95.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty jumped 60.55 points or 0.84% to settle at 7,263.55, a record closing high.
The May 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 29 May 2014.
