Turnover on NSE's F&O segment remains flat compared with Friday, 28 October 2016
The Nifty November 2016 futures traded at 8650, a premium of 23.75 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 8626.25 in the cash market. The December 2016 futures on the Nifty 50 index traded at 8705.35, a premium of 79.10 points compared with the Nifty's closing in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was flat at Rs 2.43 lakh crore compared with turnover of Rs 2.43 lakh crore registered on Friday, 28 October 2016.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 0.55 points or 0.01% to settle at 8,626.25.
Vedanta, Century Textiles & Industries, Maruti Suzuki India, Tata Steel and Tata Motors were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Vedanta November 2016 futures traded at 219, at a discount over spot closing of 220.25. Century Textiles & Industries November 2016 futures traded at 1029, at a premium over spot closing of 1024. Maruti Suzuki India November 2016 futures traded at 5886, at a premium over spot closing of 5875.
Tata Steel November 2016 futures traded at 419.35, at a premium over spot closing of 417.60. Tata Motors November 2016 futures traded at 532.30, at a premium over spot closing of 529.45.
The November 2016 F&O contracts are set to expire on 24 November 2016.
