Turnover spurts
The Nifty November 2018 futures traded at 10,518, a discount of 8.75 points from the Nifty's closing of 10,526.75 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 16.38 lakh crore, compared to Rs 9.32 lakh crore reported in the previous trading session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 73.30 points or 0.69% to settle at 10,526.75
Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
Reliance Industries November 2018 futures traded at 1,099.60, at a discount from spot closing price of 1,100.10. ICICI Bank November 2018 futures traded at 352.25, at a premium over spot closing price of 351.90. Tata Steel November 2018 futures traded at 539.50, at a premium over spot closing price of 539.10.
The November 2018 F&O contracts expire on 29 November 2018.
