Novartis India standalone net profit rises 117.50% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 4.84% to Rs 202.38 crore

Net profit of Novartis India rose 117.50% to Rs 51.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 23.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 4.84% to Rs 202.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 193.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit declined 19.71% to Rs 79.11 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 98.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 0.66% to Rs 845.29 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 839.78 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
