Oil India Ltd lost 8.7% today to trade at Rs 126.5. The S&P BSE Energy index is down 0.28% to quote at 4980.46. The index is down 3.29 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Selan Explorations Technology Ltd decreased 2.35% and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd lost 1.71% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went up 13.45 % over last one year compared to the 15.49% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Oil India Ltd has lost 13.36% over last one month compared to 3.29% fall in S&P BSE Energy index and 0.07% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 61625 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 1.3 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 188.6 on 27 May 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 118.5 on 03 Feb 2020.
