Orient Abrasives standalone net profit rises 77.97% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 65.05% to Rs 69.85 crore

Net profit of Orient Abrasives rose 77.97% to Rs 1.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 0.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 65.05% to Rs 69.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 42.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 91.80% to Rs 23.61 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 12.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 56.91% to Rs 286.15 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 182.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
