Infosys announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 04 December 2014, has transacted the following business:1. Appointment of Prof. John Etchemendy as an Independent Director :
The Board of Directors appointed Prof. John Etchemendy as an Independent Director. The appointment is effective from 04 December 2014.
2. Allotment of Bonus Shares :
The Board of Directors allotted 57,42,36,166 equity shares of Rs. 5/- each aggregating Rs. 287,11,80,830/- issued by capitalization of general reserve / securities premium and distributed as fully paid-up bonus shares in the ratio of 1 (one) equity share for every 1 (one) equity share held to those shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members / Register of Beneficiaries as on 03 December 2014 (the record date).
