PC Jeweller shines after inaugurating showroom in Bhilai

PC Jeweller rose 1.81% to Rs 434.25 at 09:55 IST on BSE after the company announced inauguration of its 55th showroom and first showroom in Bhilai.

The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 19 October 2015.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 17.80 points, or 0.07%, to 27,347.12

On BSE, so far 25,372 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 51,400 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 436.20 and a low of Rs 426 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 493.95 on 3 August 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 165 on 17 December 2014.

The mid-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 179.10 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

PC Jeweller said that the Bhilai showroom is spread across a total area of 5,100 square feet (sq. ft).

Net profit of PC Jeweller rose 18.5% to Rs 82.47 crore on 14.2% rise in net sales to Rs 1510.65 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
